We at Smith & Caughey’s are staying close to the developments of the COVID-19 situation and are adjusting our business practices as appropriate.
The health and safety of our staff, customers and community are of the utmost importance.

Auckland moves to the ‘Orange Light’ setting under the Covid-19 Protection framework at 11.59PM on the 30 December 2021.
Under the Orange Light setting, within Smith & Caughey’s stores, it is a requirement for customers (aged 12 and over) to present My Vaccine Pass or official exemption to access close proximity and hospitality services.

Please refer to our Covid-19 Updates for details on our services that require a My Vaccine Pass or official exemption, and further information on how we’re keeping our staff and customer communities safe.

Click & Collect is available for online orders! You can now do your shopping online and collect your goods from your choice of our Queen Street or Newmarket stores.  

Click & Collect is a free service and it couldn’t be simpler.

Add your desired items to Cart. During the checkout process select Click & Collect, choose which store is convenient for you. Then complete your order!

You will receive a Ready to Collect email when your order is available to be picked up from your selected store. 
This will provide you with the information on how to collect your order via our Click & Collect service.

You must provide proof of ID such as a driver’s license, passport or an 18+ card, and your Ready to Collect email, when you pick up your order instore. Your Ready to Collect email may be presented on your phone or as print out.

Some products are excluded from our Click & Collect service, these will show as ‘not available for Click & Collect’.

Orders may be collected from these collection points - please wait to receive your 'Order Is Ready' email from us, which will advise the date your order is ready to collect, and provides information on our Click & Collect service.

As circumstances have caused delays, we have extended our Returns timeframe until Thursday 31 March 2022. Should you need to return an item purchased there will be time to do so.

Exchanges are able to be processed instore, however refunds will be offered in place of an exchange Online due to both internal processing delays and delays in the courier network. All items returned will receive a full refund, subject to our terms and conditions.

For Online orders we wish to advise that processing times are slightly longer than usual due to the volume of online orders received. Please be assured that our teams are working as quickly and safely to make your purchase available for collection.

FAQ'S 

How much does Click & Collect cost?
There is no charge for Click & Collect.

Are all products available for Click & Collect?
The majority of products are available for Click & Collect, but there are some that are not. We will gradually be adding more products over time.

Can I collect some of my order in store and have the rest couried?
No, an order must be all Click & Collect or all by courier. You may have to place two orders if you want to split them up.

Where do I collect my order from?
You will receive a Ready To Collect email, with information on how to collect your order at our Queen Street and Newmarket stores during COVID-19 Level 3.

Can I collect my order the same day?
We cannot guarantee same day collection, but sometimes this may occur. Our standard shopping promise is 1 to 3 business days, which will be the case with Click & Collect also. We will email you when your order is ready to be collected.

What happens if I add a product to my cart that is not permitted for Click & Collect?
The website will give you the option of saving it to your Wishlist which you can access later to place a separate order, or you can select to review your order and remove the item from your order.

How do I know when my order is ready to collect?
You will receive an email from us to advise that your order is ready for collection.

How long will you hold my order?
We will hold your order for two weeks. We will then contact you regarding collection. If there is no response we will refund your order and return the items into stock.

What happens if I want to change the store to collect from?
Email online@smithandcaugheys.co.nz and we will advise.

What if you don’t have my order?
We will contact you by email to advise.

What if I want to return my order?
Email online@smithandcaugheys.co.nz to receive a returns pack or you can return your order to either our Queen St or our Newmarket Store – it does not need to be the store you bought it from.

What if I want to cancel my order before picking it up?
Email online@smithandcaugheys.co.nz and we will take care of that for you.

Can someone else pick up my order?
Yes, they just need to bring their photo ID and a copy of the Ready to Collect email – either printed out or displayed on their phone.

Do I need ID to collect my order?
Yes, you need to provide photo ID and show a copy of the Ready to Collect email – either on your phone or as a printed copy .

Can I try on items from my order and return them in store when I pick up my order?
Yes you can - just see the staff in store to action.

What payment types can I use for my Click & Collect order?
You can pay by credit card, Online Eftpos, Afterpay, ASB True Rewards, Smith & Caughey's Gift Cards and your Smith & Caughey's Account card.

What ID do you accept?
We accept Over 18 cards, Driver Licenses and Passports.

Is there a minimum spend for a Click & Collect order?
No, as long as the product is available for Click & Collect, there is no minimum spend requirement.
