Prices may be subject to change, and products originally added to a gift registry at a sale or promotional price may revert back to full RRP price at any time. Sale and promotional prices will only be honoured for the promotional period.

Yes your guests can purchase a gift for you by accessing your online Gift Registry with your Registry Event ID Number.

This will be classified as a late gift. Once the gift has been processed and gift-wrapped we will contact you to arrange delivery.

When compiling your gift list we will keep you informed of any items that are not currently available online or in store. You will have the option of waiting for the item to arrive into your online Gift Registry or selecting a similar item.

Smith and Caughey's cannot guarantee that the items available upon registration will be available throughout the period of the Gift List. Yes, you have the option to add gifts to your registry directly from our website, and you also have the option of coming in to our Queen Street store to meet with a consultant and select your gifts.

No you can add items as you go, and there is no limit to how many gifts you choose to add to your registry.

Delivery is offered by arrangement with the Registrant(s) and Smith & Caughey’s. You need to select your chosen date of delivery when you first set up your registry, however, you do have the option to change this date. If you choose to change the original date of your requested delivery, a consultant from our Gift Registry will contact you directly to confirm this change of date. A Gift Registry Consultant will be in contact with you closer to the event date to arrange a suitable time for your delivery. Smith and Caughey’s offer one complimentary delivery within Auckland (excluding Waiheke Island), and for deliveries outside Auckland, please click on this link for delivery information. Please contact Smith & Caughey’s directly to discuss international delivery requirements. A person must be present at the time of delivery to meet and accept the gifts. We cannot leave gifts unsupervised.

Yes, your unsold gifts will remain on your registry and we will hold all unsold gifts for 2 weeks after your event date unless previously arranged with a consultant.

No, guests can only choose from and purchase items which you have listed on your registry.

Yes, Smith and Caughey’s offer gift cards in denominations of $20, $50, $100 or $250.

You can return or exchange any of your gifts purchased from your registry if they are not suitable. We can exchange gifts for an item of the same or lesser value, and any amount left over will be given to you as a Gift Card which can be used either instore or online.

If we cannot offer you a replacement, we will put the amount of the purchase on to a Gift Card which can be used either instore or online. Items for return/exchange need to be returned within one month of purchase.

No. An item must be paid for in its entirety. We do however offer Gift cards, which are popular as a means of contributing to a higher ticket item.

Yes, we are happy to box your items and attach the personalised message on to the box.
