It all began in 1948 when SIMONE PÉRÈLE, a young corset maker with an eye for beauty, opened her workshop in the heart of Paris. At the time, the powerful women's emancipation movement was revolutionising the world of lingerie. It was then that SIMONE PÉRÈLE launched 'Soliel', a lace bra with pointed half cups, and 'Soufflé', which introduced a wave of freedom to lingerie. SIMONE PÉRÈLE made it possible for women to have both beauty and comfort innovating the first lace bra utilising the properties of Lycra©, which perfectly hugged the movements of women's bodies.

Following in the legendary footsteps of their mother, the current directors Catherine and Phillippe Pérèle are now the custodians of the lofty ideals of elegance and high standards associated with the brand. They are committed to instilling their family business with Madam Pérèle's philosophy, based on respect for women and carefully listening to them.
